What Personal Data Do We Collect? When you purchase services or products from us online we ask you for your name, address, contact telephone number and email address. Payment is processed using Stripe.
Why Do We Collect This Information? As part of the booking process we use your information in order to fulfil our service to you, as part of our service contract. We also retain information about which property you have booked with us, your name and email address to send you emails about our services, based on the fact that you have used us previously, and may benefit from our help in the future too.
What Do We Do With Your Information? Your information is stored in our order processing system which is hosted by Smoobu based in Germany. We do not retain your credit card information.
How Long Do We Keep Your Information For? We keep each booking order for 7 years after purchase. Your personal information associated with the order will then be automatically removed. You may unsubscribe from our Marketing emails at any time. Your Rights Over Your Information By Law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information for a period of time if you believe we are not doing so lawfully. Where is the data stored? Currently all our data is stored and backed up on site at our L&J office. The only exception to this is temporary data stored on our web server that is hosted by a mainstream UK provider. We reserve the right in the future to take advantage of outsourced data storage or email solutions – but we would always retain control and security of this data ourselves.
How can you find out what information L& J Fox Lets may hold? We are happy to confirm the small amounts of information we hold for any individual. A request should be made in writing. We would take steps to ensure the identity of any requests made.
